Saturday 14 May, Lama Jigmé gave the fourth reading in the series 'The Five Poisons' in the Wereld Museum in Rotterdam. After ignorance, desire, and anger, pride was up for conversation.
Teaching on the Bardo of Death

On Saturday 23 April, Lama Jigmé spoke about the Bardo of Death at community center the Duikelaar in Rotterdam. With a very interesting reading in the morning, and in the afternoon, and an audience of 50 people, beautiful weather, and a delicious lunch, it was a successful day.

The University of Leiden organized an interesting series on Tibet under the title, ‘Tibet, de ander anders bezien’, an Exploration of Religion, Art and Politics. On Thursday 21 April, Lama Jigmé was invited to speak on meditation within the Tibetan tradition.

An Introduction to Buddhism

On 23 and 24 November 2010 various groups of students visited our temple on the Rodenrijselaan in Rotterdam. They came to become acquainted with Buddhism. After a brief introduction we described the origins and essence of Buddhism. We told the beautiful story of Prince Siddartha, who went in search of the causes of suffering and happiness, and shared his knowledge and experience with other people after having done so.
