Religion in hospitals: Round Table

On 09 November in Luxembourg, Lama Jigmé Namgyal will participate in a multi-religious discussion panel about the role of religions in hospitals.

The two rounds of discussions with all participants will be about:
a) What benefit can the practice of religion bring to a patient, particularly for a patient who must remain in a hospital?
b) What religious freedoms and ability to practice his religion should a sick believer be entitled to once he has been committed to a hospital?

The panel consists of  representatives from various religions:
