Classes

Each year, we offer a beautiful new study program, alongside our study weekends and retreats, designed to deepen your understanding of the Buddhist path and to bring peace and clarity into everyday life.

Under the guidance of Lama Jigmé Namgyal Rinpoche, you’ll explore how the mind works and how wisdom and compassion can grow naturally through study, reflection and meditation.

Our classes are offered at different levels — from beginner to intermediate and advanced — so you can join at a pace that fits your own experience and path. Whether you’re taking your first steps or have been studying for years, there’s always a place for you in our community of learning and practice.

Below you’ll find the weekly classes for the 2026–2027 study year. You can join at any time — in the temple or online.

Joining the classes

Studying and practising the Buddha’s teachings together is a precious opportunity. At Phuntsok Chö Ling, each class offers a space to open the mind, cultivate awareness and let wisdom slowly take root.

To join our weekly classes, membership is required — you can read more about the options here. If you’d first like to get a feel for our practice, you’re welcome to join the Sunday meditation class through our trial lessons — find out more here.

Take a look at the classes and feel which one resonates with you. If you have any questions or would like to discuss which class suits your level best, you’re warmly invited to contact Khandro-la at khandrola@phuntsokcholing.org.

Study takes time to mature.

That’s why we ask for genuine commitment when you join the classes on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. Steady participation allows the teachings to deepen and unfold naturally.

Each class has its own facilitator, experienced students who help organise, support and hold the space so everyone can study and practise with ease. If you can’t attend a class, please let the facilitator of your group know.

We look forward to walking this path of study and reflection together, with openness, kindness and joy.
